SPEAKER: The Honorable George Prentice, Clerk of Court for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Texas.

TOPIC: IT'S MORE THAN ROCK 'n ROLL: Collaborate. Communicate. Create.

Come join us at the beautiful Southern Hills Country Club and learn the art of teamwork using lessons from the Beatles, Rolling Stones, U2, and other great bands in the history of rock ’n’ roll. Examine the power of well-chosen words and phrases; the right ones can be memorable while the wrong ones can be memorably bad. Discover your role in the band--whether you're more like the lead singer or the drummer--and how to showcase that talent. Experience the collaborative process of Lennon and McCartney in a fun and highly interactive workshop to help you become more creative at work. Participation in this program does not require musical talent, but love of music and appreciation for the icons of rock ‘n’ roll is recommended

Second Quadrennial Hudson-Hall-Wheaton Judicial Forum

Date: Thursday, September 14, 2006
Time: 5:30 p.m.
Place: Federal Building, 333 W 4th St.
RSVP: {a href = mailto:craig.hoster@CroweDulevy.com;Brenda.Carol@CroweDunlevy.com }Craig Hoster no later than Monday, September 11{/a}

On November 7, 2006 we will have the responsibility for electing six judges in Tulsa.

There are three vacant seats being filled due to the retirement of Judges Ron Shaffer and David Peterson and the withdrawal of Presiding Judge Greg Frizzell who has been nominated to fill the vacant federal judgeship in Tulsa. There are also three contested races for the positions currently held by District Judges Tom Thornbrugh and Deborah Shallcross and Associate District Judge Caroline Wall.

The candidates for these positions have been invited to participate in a forum for our Inn. They will be telling us about themselves and their candidacy as well as answering anonymous questions submitted in advance to Pupilage Group 1 by members of the Inn.

We have also invited the members of the Council Oak/Johnson-Sontag Inn to join us for this forum.

Because of the anticipated turnout, seating will be limited to the first 180 people responding to this announcement ( this number includes the 12 candidates and their guests). Seating will be on a first come basis, so it is vital that you RSVP as soon as possible. The cut-off date for RSVP notice is Monday, September 11.

You may RSVP by clicking on the above-link to {a href = mailto:craig.hoster@CroweDulevy.com;Brenda.Carol@CroweDunlevy.com }Craig Hoster{/a}, our Attendance Chair.

In addition to the forum, we will be announcing the new Mentoring Program being spearheaded by Judge Dana Rasure and Judge Rebecca Nightingale.

This is going to be a great year for Hudson-Hall-Wheaton ! We are looking forward to seeing old friends and establishing new friendships with our twenty-two new members. See you on September 14.
